A car crashed last night on the Ripseweg near Elsendorp. The car got off the road, drove a lamppost out of the ground and landed upside down on a cycle path next to the road. There was no other traffic involved in the accident.
The driver could get out of the car himself and was taken to a hospital in an ambulance. The car was towed by a recovery company. How things could go wrong on the Ripseweg is being investigated.
