The public prosecutor’s office in Limburg submitted an extradition request for Mounir ‘Mou’ Namoussi (41), a Belgian drug lord that was arrested in Colombia last week in an investigation into international cocaine smuggling. In 2021, the Genkenaar was sentenced in absentia to seven years in prison in Tongeren.
