Kastamonu Ilgaz Mountain between 3-5 March 2025 in the preparation camp held athletes, accompanied by coaches participated in an intensive training program. In the camp, training was held in Alp discipline and ski running branches. Athletes have completed their final preparations before the games by improving their technical and physical skills on challenging trails.
Preparatory camp, Special Olympics World Winter Games will represent Türkiye athletes Beyza Kirenli, Enver Eren Kebapçıoğlu, Sude Cihan, Batuhan Uludag, Berat Kömbeci, Eda Nur Biçer and Şehriye Naz Koncalıoğlu attended. Başantrenör Mehmet Ali and coaches Sevda Ketenci, Gamze Derdiyok and Levent Aslant Aslant were accompanied by athletes. Kastamonu, Düzce, Karabük, Zonguldak and Çorum provinces from the athletes, continued their training for three days.
Following the completion of the camp, the Private Olympics Türkiye Group will set out to Turin to represent Türkiye at the Special Olympics World Winter Games on Friday, March 7. More than 100 thousand private athletes from more than 100 countries will compete in the games.
