Two young bison in the Wildwood Trust animal park in Kent, England, have learned to vaccinate themselves. The caregivers have trained them to lean against needles voluntarily, a technique that is intended to replace the “less popular” dart method, says Becky Copland, responsible for the management of animal behavior.
