Despite the unclear future in the club, Joshua Kimmich supports FC Bayern in promoting young talent. He even gives one of his houses for that.
The future of Joshua Kimmich at Bayern remains open. While the contract poker continues around the midfielder, the 30-year-old has tied to the club in the long term in a different way. According to a report, he supports the Munich team in promoting young talents.
As the “Munich Merkur/TZ” reports, Kimmich has acquired and renovated a house in the immediate vicinity of the training area on Säbener Strasse. In the meantime, he has rented the property to FC Bayern. The club uses the building to accommodate players of his “World Squad”. At first there was no official statement by the Munich team on this topic.
The “World Squad” is a project of FC Bayern in which U19 talents from different countries are funded. You will receive support from former Bayern professionals such as Roy Makaay and Diego Contento. According to “Munich Merkur/TZ”, Kimmich should stop by regularly in order to get an idea of the young players.
It remains to be seen whether it is a future Bavaria star. Some players from the program have already made the leap into professional football: Daniel Francis is under contract with FC Bayern and is currently playing on loan for Wacker Innsbruck, Victor Orakpo switched to OGC Nizza, and Viktor Baier runs for Viktoria Pilsen.
