Country star Dolly Parton’s longtime husband Carl Thomas Dean is dead.
Dean, who remained away from the spotlight of the public, died at the age of 82.
This is reported on Parton’s Instagram account. Dean was asleep on Nahsville on Monday, March 3.
“Carl and I spent many great years together,” Parton comments.
– Words are not enough to describe the love we shared for over 60 years. Thank you for your prayers and sympathy.

Parton was 18 years old when he met Dean for the first time, says AP news agency.
– I was surprised and in love that he looked at me when talking to me. It’s rare for me, Parton has said according to AP.
– He seemed genuinely interested in finding out who I was.
Dean, who spoke publicity, gave a rare statement on the first meeting Entertainment for Tonight In 2016.
“My first thought was that I would get married to him,” Dean said.
– My second thought was “oh heaven, he is good looking”.
– And that day my life started. I wouldn’t change the last 50 years to anything on this Earth.

The couple married in a small -scale ceremony in Georgia’s Ringgold on May 30, 1966. The couple never had children.

People says Dean was born into a family of four children in Tennessee in Nashville in 1942.
Dean will miss Parton and his two surviving siblings Sandra and Donnie.
