Plants in the button and crocuses in bloom. Spring already announced for a while, but this week is the day. You can sit outside from the wind and in sun.
This morning it was a bit of a shock. On the bike, gloves were not superfluous luxury and before you got into the car the windows had to be scratched. Cold.
But with the rise of the sun, a clear blue sky appeared. A harbinger for what we expect this week, says RTV Drenthe-Weerman Roland van der Zwaag. Moreover, the temperatures go up.
“Today it is about 9 degrees. That will be completely different later this week,” says Van der Zwaag. “On Friday it can be 16 degrees. Winter is over, we can say.”
But for that we first have to go on tomorrow. Because again it will freeze lightly tonight. On Tuesday there is a mishmash of sun and stacking clouds. Then the temperature goes up step by step.
Yet it does not mean that the winter is definitely behind us, the weatherman says. “I haven’t experienced a spring yet, where there was no cold wind from the northeast at the end of March or early April with sometimes March showers. They are the last convulsions of the winter, but a week -long -10 degrees is really no longer in it.”
