Culinair Zoetermeer started in 2000 as a culinary and literary festival on Stadhuisplein. Nowadays we know this feast party as a large -scale event on the market that many a gourmet is looking forward to. Due to the work at the Dobbark, the event must move to another location

Because if you have to move to an alternative place, we will also think of a new name, date and concept, Senior Event Manager Jeffrey de Bake and his colleagues from Timeless Events must have thought.

Call the animal by name

Okay, we start with the name. Culinair Zoetermeer is changing to the culinary summer festival. Sounds good anyway, but as Zoetermeerders we have been saying for years Are you still going to culinary? So with that new name we can just keep saying that.

On the other side of Zoetermeer

For years we have been visiting the culinary event on the market behind the Stadshart. Due to work in the Central Park, there are no events at this location this year. We do not yet know what that looks like in the future. In any case, the Culinary Summer Festival is this year at the Silverdome event site. You can find it on Van der Hagenstraat.

Grab your agenda

Most Zoetermeerders automatically block the last weekend of June in their agenda for this three -day event. Ho stop! In May and June there are almost no events in Zoetermeer because our agents have to work during the NATO summit in The Hague.

At the beginning of July the Milan Festival is on the Silverdome event site, so July 4 is not possible. All this means that the culinary summer festival is moving to the weekend of July 11. For three days you can eat, drink and party at this culinary party.

Terrace festival

There will be a central bar as an eye -catcher on the event site. Jeffrey de Bake says: “The culinary summer festival is a kind of terrace festival. You get your dishes at the restaurants of your choice, after which you take a seat on a central terrace. This way everyone can get food as desired and the restaurants no longer have their own terrace. ” It is not yet known which restaurant owners are present at the event.

In addition to tasty, food and fun, you can expect live music, fairground attractions and children’s activities. Sunday July 13 is planned as a pleasant family day. Keep an eye on the area for the Line Up and the program.
