Kanisa is happy that she can help people: “If I do something for the people, make them happy and laugh at them. I talk to them, play games and talk to them.”

Issam from Palestine also works in the residential care center. Issam is only eight months in our country, but is already speaking quite Dutch. “Volunteering is a win win. You meet other people making it easier to integrate into society and you practice Dutch.”
