Disappointing first half
The supporters of RKC Waalwijk saw a somewhat disappointing first half. The guests from Limburg, with a good number of dressed up supporters in the branch, were able to cheer after eight minutes after the 0-1 of Alessio da Cruz. Among others, Richonell Margaret and Michiel Kramer, who played because of the injury of striker Oskar Zawada, got opportunities on the equalizer, but they did not get the ball behind goalkeeper Mattijs Branderhorst.

The second half was more exciting than good. The two teams were matched and no longer seemed to change in the stand. Substitute Silvester van de Water still took care of the equalizer in the extra time. However, it turned out not enough for a point, because in the very last minute the Limburgers made it 1-2. Due to the defeat, RKC Waalwijk remains seventeenth in the Eredivisie and it must hope that the teams above it will not get any points this weekend.
