AZ Groeninge in Kortrijk has started a pilot project to detect Sepsis faster. Sepsis is a serious inflammatory response to an infection that can be life threatening. Together with the Sint-Jozefskliniek in Izegem, UGent and the FPS Public Health, the hospital focuses on smart biose sensors and artificial intelligence to accelerate the diagnosis.
