The Bolzano-Satzter Oberalp Group, based in Bolzano, appoints NOL Gerrits to the new brand Director of Salewa.
Gerrits will play his new role in the mountain sports brand founded in Munich on May 2, the Oberalp Group announced on Tuesday. Born in Dutch, comes from the Brazilian shoe brand Havaianas, where he worked in Madrid as Head of Marketing & Product for Europe, Asia-Pacifk and Africa. He was also active for brands such as Lululemon, Keen and Nike.
“With NOL Gerrite we found a manager who can further develop our traditional Salewa brand excellently through his international experience in different areas,” said Ruth Oberrauch, Vice President at Oberalp. “The choice has also fallen on him because his enthusiasm for mountain sports and cultural openness fit very well with Salewa and the Oberalp Group.”
