Europe can defend itself without American aid, but needs more than 300,000 soldiers extra soldiers

To defend itself without American aid, Europe has to spend around 250 billion euros extra on Defense every year. This is apparent from a study by the Think Tank Bruegel and the Kiel Institute for the World Economy. With that money, among other things, more than 300,000 extra soldiers must be mobilized.
