Union Berlin breaks an important support in the relegation battle of the Bundesliga. The club lacks an own plant that has established itself in the first eleven eleven.
Union Berlin has to do without Aljoscha Kemlein for the rest of the season. The 20-year-old was operated on his injured foot last Friday. As the club announced on Monday, the intervention was “successful”.
Kemlein had already missed the past four league games. Since the beginning of February, the midfielder has not been on the pitch due to the injury. In the current season he played 17 competitive games and posted a goal participation. He also made his debut for the German U21 national team in November.
Kemlein born in Berlin has been playing for Union since his youth. Last season he was awarded by the “Iron” to the second half of the season to FC St. Pauli. With the Hamburgers, he then rose to the Bundesliga at the end of the season.
