The Kik mother Tengelmann Twenty-One KG calls Sandra Dembeck to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Dembeck will play her new role in April 1, Tengelmann said on Monday at the LinkedIn career network. She takes over after the training phase for CFO Ágnes Faragó. Most recently, Dembeck CFO was at the Berlin online retailer Zalando.
“I am very pleased that with Ms. Dembeck we were able to gain an excellent leader with a highly relevant experience for our group of companies!” Said Tengelmann CEO Christian Haub. “After she has just left Zalando as a CFO, she will be a great support for Tengelmann Twenty-One Holding and will actively support us in the continuous transformation of our strategic participation portfolio over the next few years.”
The new Tengelmann CFO was at Zalando for around three years. It was announced last year that it would not extend her contract expiring at the end of February. At Zalando, Co-CEO David Schröder temporarily takes responsibility for the financial sector.
Before Zalando, Dembeck Group Corporate Finance Director was at the British Catering specialist Compass Group and held leading positions at the British retail group Kingfisher PLC. She was also active at the Dutch clothing provider Mexx and in various tasks at C&A, most recently as Finance Director and Legal Director C&A Europe.
