A day later, Marlene Meier and Rosina Schneider had a gripping race over 60 meters hurdles, Torben Blech and Bo Kanda Lita Baehre shared the title in the pole vault and there were surprises in the high jump of women, long jump of men and by Alexandra Burghardt over 60 meters .
Long jump in women
For the eighth time in a row, Malaika Mihambo won the championship title in the hall. The 31-year-old took a little time to arrive in the competition, after all, she still won relatively clearly at 6.79 meters. Her biggest national competitor Mikaelle Assani was second with a width of 6.57 meters, bronze went to Sandrina Sprengel, who was able to screw up her personal best to 6.47 meters.

Robin Ganter had over 60 meters in a conceivably tight race, in which the first and the last one had only separated 0.09 seconds, narrowly ahead – over 200 meters it was a clear matter. With personal best of 20.85 seconds, the 24-year-old won clearly ahead of Felix Jahn (21.29 seconds) and James Adebola (21.39).

Men’s triple jump
Max Hess recently put the best distance worldwide in Metz with 17.41 meters this season and the second best of his career. In Dortmund it didn’t go quite as far, but his 17 meters were still really good – only jumped six times this year, twice from the 28 -year -old himself.
It was clear that gold was only over him, the deficit of the competition is too great. Steven Freund grew beyond himself and achieved a new personal best with 15.85 meters. Mohammad Amin Alsalami (15.53 meters) finished third behind the silver winner.
1500 meters
The favorite also won on the medium -sized route: Marius Probst prevailed, reached the finish line after 3: 38.14 minutes and was over 2.5 seconds ahead of Karl Bebendorf (3: 41.69 minutes). Behind it, Maximilian Thorwirth took third place in 3: 42.19 minutes and brought his second medal for gold over 3000 meters.
Majtie Kolberg belongs to women over 800 meters to the top of the world, but tried over 1500 meters in Dortmund – and actually crowned the German champion. In the final sprint, the 25-year-old showed her tempo location and passed Elena Burkard, won 0.13 seconds before her opponent in 4: 13.65 minutes (personal best). Behind it was Jolanda Kallabis in 4: 14.52 minutes of bronze.
Women’s pole vault
After seven years, Friedelinde Pertershofen managed to cross 4.30 meters – but that was only enough for silver. This was due to the fact that the favorite Anjuli Knaschen was unable to beat despite her improvement, she won at 4.50 meters. Anna Hiesinger (4.10 meters) was third.
