André Hazes Jr. came to repent on time. If he’s a little longer cougar Bridget Maasland would have sticked, he would have irrevocably ended up in her transition trap. We have not heard the presenter anywhere else for years than the transition, a dry plum, Mood Swings And embracing your wrinkles. Well, embrace …

Far too expensive

A whole cosmetical line has been rigged up by Bridget to just camouflage those wrinkles. ‘Age Like Fine Wine‘, the presenter then calls. For whom that line is meant? Her ‘community‘: Grapes. She says she leads a group of women who are in transition, but what does that actually mean?

Mediaconner Victor Vlam has hung out the undercover journalist, signed up for the group of Bridget and came to the discovery that that community is not proposing a ball, but that the presenter is mainly out of financial rakes. According to him, the products she sells are really much and far too expensive.

Deafening

What exactly is it? Victor explains it in the podcast The Communicado’s: “As a true undercover journalist, a kind of Alberto Stegeman, I went to work. I signed up for that platform to be part of that community to report on it in this podcast. ”

He continues: “I signed up and I immediately noticed something. Let’s say a deafening silence. There is not terribly much on that platform. It was launched half a year ago and well, it is not super busy there. For example, there is a blog that is intended to share information and on the first page of that blog there are eleven articles. ”

Bridget in the woman

Seven of the articles all have the same kind of head: ‘Bridget Maasland in the woman’, ‘Bridget Maasland in Libelle Healthy’, etcetera. “It is primarily a list of which interviews Bridget has given recently. This is not a blog, but just a media portfolio! ”

And then the transition forum of Bridget? “I noticed that too: there is not much posting on that forum. Only a few messages are posted a day and almost all of women who complain about the transition. ”

All one goal

Bridget pretends to lead a whole community, but in the end it’s just blown marketing, says Victor. “It all serves one goal and that is that there is also a part on this platform to sell things: the shop. And what is the case? This is just a way to sell very expensive products. “

“It is pretended that there is a community of people, as if it exists to break taboos, but it is just a glorified webshop and it is a terribly dare webshop.”

Extremely expensive

The prices that Bridget uses are really belonging, says Victor. “I was watching there and you can buy body lotion, for example. 200 milliliters costs 30 euros! Well, I will tell you: that is expensive. If you go to the Kruidvat, it only costs you a few euros. It will cost no one else 30 euros. That is extremely much money. “

He thinks she has her Achrerban. “If you build an entire community and people feel connected to that community, then you can easily ask much more money for this type of products such as body lotion. I accept that and I think it is smart somewhere that she tackles it that way, but I think to myself: I always find the hypocrisy so annoying. ”

“Be honest!”

That woman just has to be honest, says Victor. “Bridget is then proclaiming that she wants to break taboos and that that is the goal of that site, but in the meantime she is just a webshop.”

“No, Bridget, you are not breaking taboos, you don’t want to bring people together, you just want to make a little more margin on your terribly expensive beauty products! You are just a refined seller! There is nothing wrong with that, but don’t pretend to break taboos! ”
