Tappara’s defender Otto Leskinen will play next season in Luleå, the Swedish League, Expressen reported.

According to the Swedish newspaper, Leskinen was originally leaving for SHL in 2022, but at that time the transfer was not yet realized.

The 28-year-old gambler has won two Finnish championships in Tappara and has also played in Lion in recent seasons.

Leskinen has made a handsome 7+23 = 30 in 41 matches this season.

The defender has also played six matches in the NHL in the Montreal Canadiens shirt.

Luleå Sports Director Thomas Fröberg He refused to comment on Leskinen’s situation in an Expressen story.

“He’s a good player, but I have nothing to say about building next season’s team,” Fröberg said.

Leskinen’s agreement with Tappara ends this season.
