Warning of calls from India, but also Iran and Mexico on the list
The Federal Network Agency explicitly warns of calls with the primaries +91 (India), +98 (Iran) and +52 Mexico about the WhatsApp messenger. “It can be assumed that the calls have a legal background!” Said the Federal Network Agency in a current note to consumers. Numbers of missed calls of this origin should not be called back and, if the conversations came about, personal data should not be communicated. These could lead to later abuse. Unknown numbers from these countries should be blocked by the users via WhatsApp themselves – or when calling for landline – moving from the router to a block list.
Ping calls
Basically, consumers should be careful with oppressed and foreign numbers. Simple rule: do not disclose private data
