He started working as a technical man in 2004
Ferhat Akbaş started his duty as a volleyball statistical coach in 2004 in Galatasaray and then in Türk Telekom Ankara team. In 2011, he worked as an assistant coach of China’s Guangdong Evergrande Volleyball Team and then worked in Vakıfbank, CSM Bucharest and Chemik Police teams.
Since the 2021-2022 season, the young coach has been working as a chief coach in Eczacıbaşı Dynavit. He also served as an assistant coach in the 2015-2016 season.
