They immediately know what they are taking on: the money in the cash register at a store of a gas station on the Dokweg in IJmuiden, in the night of 1 February around 2:30 am.
The two faces of the robbers are blew on the images. They have a week to report. The police think they might be under the age of eighteen.
No loot
A lot of image of the robbers has been recorded: first the man with a firearm that flies into the store, then the man who stays in the doorway with a machete.
The lady behind the cash register has a quick reflex, because when she notices the two, she goes back and closes herself in the warehouse. The duo notices that she then has no chance of success and leaves, without loot.
“It was very intense for the staff to experience this in the middle of the night. The shock is very good at it,” says a police spokesperson in the NH agency.
Firearm and machete
The first young man has a normal build and average height. He walks into the store with a balaclava. He is wearing a dark jacket from the Under Armor brand and is wearing light pants, dark shoes and wears dark gloves. He focuses a firearm on the staff.
The second young man is quite thin and long and has also covered his face with a mask. He wears a dark jacket with hood and has dark clothing on: dark pants, dark shoes with white sole, dark gloves, has a backpack on and a machete in his hand.
