The Baller League games took place in Cologne for two years. Now there is a move to historical terrain.

The Baller League changes the location: After two seasons in Cologne, the third season of the Kleinfeldliga takes place in Berlin. From March to May 2025, the legendary Tempelhof Airport will become the new home of the event.

The new season begins on February 21 with the draft, in which the final squads are put together. The first game will kick off on March 3. By May 17th, a total of eleven game days are on the program before the Final Four selects the new champions.

Felix Starck, CEO of Baller League GmbH, sees a long-term chance in move to Berlin: “With a permanent venue in Tempelhof Airport, we create a sustainable basis for the further development of the Baller League. We would like to establish a cultural hub in the heart of Germany, which is also used beyond the Monday games. “

The games are held in Hangar 7 of the Tempelhof Airport, which will become the Baller League arena for several weeks. Around 1,000 fans will be on site per game day, while the event is transmitted live to Twitch, Joyn and ProSieben Maxx.

Franziska Becker, State Secretary for Sport in Berlin, welcomes the new event series:
“The Baller League is a great addition to the already broad portfolio of sports that distinguishes Berlin. It offers the football fan an innovative and entertaining format that opens up new target groups.”

Fabian Schmitz-Grethlein, Managing Director of Tempelhof Projekt GmbH, also emphasizes the peculiarity of the venue: “The unique charm of the building, especially the hangars, not only offers a great location for the audience, but will also inspire and inspire footballers.”
