A motorcyclist drove a taxi on Monday afternoon on the Groeneweg between Wijk and Aalburg and Veen. The motorcyclist, a man, was seriously injured.
He was taken to the hospital with an ambulance under the supervision of a doctor from the trauma helicopter.
According to bystanders, the man would have driven very fast on the motorcycle. The police are investigating the accident. The road therefore remains closed for a few hours.
