The cabinet is investigating whether there should be more money to the ‘Burgerveraad climate’. 175 Dutch people who were approached after a draw may discuss climate policy with each other in the near future. More than 6 million euros has already been made available for this (converted around 35,000 euros per participant), but according to VVD minister Sophie Hermans (climate), the organization of the talk club has made a claim of many tons.
