Marijke Groenewoud rods through: a few hours after title at 3000 meters in Thialf, she books record victory at Marathon in Utrecht in Utrecht

Skater Marijke Groenewoud has booked her fifteenth seasonal victory on the marathon at the Marathon Cup in Utrecht. With that she equaled the record of Daniëlle Bekkering from the 2006/2007 season. A few hours earlier in Heerenveen, Groenewoud was still Dutch champion in the 3000 meters, after she had also caught the gold in the 1500 meters a day earlier at the NK distances.
