In the driveway of the N2 towards the north, a driver has driven a light pole from the ground. The man lost control of the wheel and bumped into the mast. The driver of the car was drunk.
The driver was checked by the ambulance personnel, but did not have to go to the hospital. To get to the ambulance, the man had to be supported by two agents because he was so drunk. He was therefore arrested and transferred to the police station.
The man’s car has been towed away. Due to the handling of the accident, the driveway is still closed. It is expected that it will take a while before it will be open again.
