The Swiss Camille Rast was risky and was rewarded with the World Cup title. For DSV star Dürr, it did not work either for superstar Shiffrin with a medal.

When Lena Dürr arrived at the finish line, she raised her arms up and was pleased that the time displayed was founded green. After all, the German was in the lead, but was then replaced by the Austrian Katharina Treuppe. In the end, the DSV star took seventh place. The victory went to the Swiss Camille Rast in front of her teammate Wendy Holdener and the Austrian Katharina Liensberger.

Rast cheered her world championship title and was visibly happy about her success. ZDF expert Marco Büchel then told that he ran down to moderate from the commentator cabin and hit the youth coach from Rast. “It was crying on the fence, he just cried for joy. It was just nice,” Büchel continued.

U.S. star and World Cup record holder Mikaela Shiffrin was in third place after the first round, but visibly had problems in the second run and missed such a medal. It was fifth for Shiffrin.

Dürr said to her run: “I can’t say anything about it yet. I noticed that the grains went out below. It was very special today. Interesting races, I tried to get everything out again.” She said about the short -term tour: “After all, it was clear to me that it was not enough for the front.”
