Telia warns about cheaters who try to use Valentine’s Day for their criminal purposes. Last year, Telia blocked tens of thousands of scam calls on Valentine’s Day. Telia’s security expert Kristian Westerstråhle says in a news release that Valentine’s Day is a good time for different scam attempts on a good -natured and communicative day. A year ago, Telia discovered a spike in scams on Valentine’s Day. It says it has prevented 44,000 scam calls at that time, or an average of thirty calls per minute.
