Chairs at Richemont.

The Swiss luxury goods group Richemont appointed Marie-Aude Stocker as Chief People Officer (CPO), as the company announced on Friday. In this function she reports directly to Richemont CEO Nicolas Bos.

Stocker has only recently worked as a CPO, but has been part of the company for 24 years. Most recently, she worked as a director of people, development and prospective at the luxury jewelry brand van Cleef & Arpels belonging to the group.

In addition to her new role as CPO, Stocker was included in the Senior Executive Committee (SEC) from Richemont. Catherine Rénier, CEO by Van Cleef & Arpels, and Louis Ferla, CEO from Cartier are also new to this committee. In contrast, Jérôme Lambert, who was recently appointed CEO of the watchmaker Jaeger-Lecoult, and Boet Brinkgreve, CEO from Laboratoire de Haute Parfumerie et Beauté, who will leave the company at the end of April, are leaving the committee.

“Catherines and Louis’ combined industry and group experience, together with their operational knowledge and its expertise as CEOs in our greatest maison, will be a great asset for our senior executive committee,” explained Bos. “I am also pleased that Marie-Aude, as our newly appointed Chief People Officer, is joining the Sec. A dedicated CPO will ensure that our growing and rapidly developing strategic HR resources are effectively managed. ”
