Volunteers map thousands of species for the National Database Flora and Fauna: ‘It is just like collecting stamps’

Without much tame, the National Flora and Fauna database was opened to the general public last week. On florafaunavernotner.nl everyone can browse to their heart’s content which insects, mammals, birds, plants, etc. have been signaled in their own neighborhood. And then it appears that on the night of 4 to 5 February a field owl settled on the garden fence, or that there was a red -ranking bat around the neighbors.
