It was the absolute glory years of the television, in which sometimes eight (!) Million people stayed at home for the large live game shows such as those of icons such as Fred Oster, Willem Ruis and Henny Huisman. Why do we no longer see these types of programs in 2025 on the tube? Huisman: “A 4.5 -ton television decor for one program is now almost unthinkable.”
