Are you going on the road next night or tomorrow morning? “Beware,” warns KNMI. Through snowfall it could be insidiously slippery. Code yellow has therefore been issued for almost all of the Netherlands.
But before it starts to snow, according to RTV Drenthe-Weerman Hans Nienhuis, it will first be annoying weather with rain. Later in the night this could turn into snow that may remain.
The KNMI speaks of the chance of a layer of snow from 1 to 3 centimeters and even a little more locally. The weather institute warns that there is a chance of accidents through slippery roads, cycle paths and footpaths.
