Finance Minister Jan Jambon (N-VA) denies that there is a separate agreement about the introduction of the capital gains tax. He explained that at VTM Nieuws, among others. He thereby responded to the statements of MR chairman Georges-Louis Bouchez, who claimed that he has a deal with Prime Minister Bart De Wever (N-VA) on paper that anyone who holds shares will not pay any capital gains. In the meantime, De Wever refuses to confirm whether the ‘note’ exists and says that there are no documents that must be released to the parliament.
