Post (24) played in the American lecture basketball for four years and was picked up by the Warriors last summer in the so -called Draft. He was initially allowed to join the training team, but soon he managed to conquer a place in the main force.
On the side of basketball legend Stephen Curry, Post now seems to be developing into a useful rotation player. So that also noticed Golden State Warriors. The 2.13 meter long post, which is now known for its good long shot, will earn around 2.3 million euros per year from next season.
At Golden State Warriors, one of the most successful NBA teams in recent years, Post is now fighting for a place for the play-offs, the knockout phase for the championship. For that, the team must end with the best ten teams of the Western Conference (the NBA is divided into two ‘conferences’). The Warriors are currently eleventh.
Rare
It is not often that a Dutch basketball player makes it to the NBA. For this season, Gadzuric was the last one that made minutes in 2012. Francisco Elson was the first and only Dutchman in 2007.
This season, three Dutch basketball players suddenly had a chance at an NBA club. IJmuidenaar Malevy Leons (Oklahoma City Thunder) has also made minutes, but his contract has since been dissolved.
Amsterdammer Jesse Edwards (Minnesota Timberwolves, is still waiting for his debut). The three were teammates at Apollo for their switch to America.
