The accident happened around 8:15 am along the Ledeweg. For an unknown cause, the moped rider from Oudenburg clashed with a car, driven by a 23 -year -old man from Jabbeke. The young man ended up in the canal and was taken to the hospital in a critical condition. The driver of the car was not injured.
