Douiri ended up at FC Volendam in the summer of 2021 after playing in the spotlight at IJsselmeervogels. The Amsterdammer played eleven games in the first division and twenty in the Eredivisie. His last official game was 19 May 2024 against Go Ahead Eagles.
He was frequently used as a right back among the Volendammers, but at Telstar he was achieved as a wing attacker. After the departure of Zakaria Eddahchouri to Deportivo de la Coruna, a spot was released on the wing. Youssef El Kachati is the new center striker.
Telstar will play against Young FC Utrecht next Sunday. The kick-off is 4.45 pm and you can of course follow that game in our radio broadcast and via our live blog. It is not yet clear whether Douiri is already with the selection.
