Despite the horse kiss: Tachie should help the BTSV immediately

At the last second, Richmond Tachie hired at Eintracht Braunschweig. There he is hit directly in training – and yet should be an immediate aid.
At Eintracht Braunschweig, Richmond Tachie felt directly what it means to put in the relegation battle. During a training session on Thursday, a teammate gained him on his thigh.
BTSV coach Daniel Schering commented on the unfortunate situation at the press conference before the upcoming second division game against the Karlsruher SC (Sunday, 1.30 p.m.). “He got a welcome gift directly in the eleven-on-team: a nice horse kiss,” said the coach.
And yet Tachie could already appear against the KSC for Eintracht for the first time. “I assume that things are going quite normal,” added Scherning with a view to the striker’s light injury.
The 25-year-old tachie was switched to the Oker on Deadline Day-shortly before the end of the winter transfer phase-from Liga competitor 1. FC Kaiserslautern. The striker was loaned to the German champion from 1967 until the end of the season.
There he wants to lift the current second to the table of the 2nd Bundesliga on a non -relegation place until summer. “You can tell that he is in the mood for him to feel like the situation here and that he has the clear goal of playing,” Scherning describes the first impressions of the new attacker.
And: Although the striker has only recently joined the team and despite the unfortunate incident in training, according to Scherning there is even a place in the starting eleven for the offensive man on Sunday. “He was a very refreshing impulse in the first units. It is certainly the option to start it directly,” said the Eintracht trainer.
No wonder: the Braunschweigers have been having been having been having been having been having been having been having to go on the offensive for months. From the end of November to mid -January, BTSV stayed in a row in five league games without its own goal. The second weakest attack is put on the league. Only Jahn Regensburg finally scored fewer goals.
With Tachie, Scherning now has another option in the forefront. Especially with Rayan Philippe who currently has the best scorer with nine goals. He last scored in November 2024 in a competitive game for the BTSV-against Tachies Ex-Club 1. FC Kaiserslautern.
