The police in Sierra Leone reports that she started a manhunt on the fugitive criminal Jos Leijdekkers from Breda, better known as ‘Bolle Jos’. According to the Inspector General of the National Police in the West African country, Leijdekkers would present themselves as Omar Sheriff in the country.
“We have visited different locations, but we have not been able to find it yet,” said the Inspector General during a press conference. He called on the population to help the police in the investigation.
Last month it became clear that Bolle Jos is probably in Sierra Leone, after he was recorded with the daughter of the president of that country. The OM and the police have known for six months that he was sitting there.
On Friday, Minister David van Weel (Justice and Security) said that ‘within the foreseeable future’ will be asked for his extradition.
