He won a total of nine medals at the Olympic Games and World Championships – especially silver in team jumping in Sochi 2014 together with Gregor Schlierenzauer, Thomas Morgenstern and Thomas Diethart.
There are also four World Cup victories in singles and twelve with the team. Its best conclusion in the World Cup was fourth in the 2015/16 season. Hayböck, born in Linz, became sixth last season.
The Austrian also regularly succeeded in the four -hill tour. In 2014/15 he finished second behind his team and room colleague Stefan Kraft and set up a skanclor at 138 meters on the Bergiselschanze in Innsbruck.
In 2025 he also succeeded in the New Year’s jumping in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, where he also holds the ski jump record with a set of 145 meters.
