Kakko started his sixth season in the New York Rangers shirt, but his career in Manhattan ended about a week before Christmas when the Rangers GM Chris Drury You traded in Seattle Kraken from Turku.

– Ever since we went to Dallas, I have gone with one suitcase. A passport and a few collar shirts came from New York. Pretty little here I have gone.
The Finnish bull has lived in Seattle for about a month and a half – only a couple of weeks in his apartment. Because of the tight match program, he has not yet got to know the city properly, but that time is still coming.
However, the first impression of the new hometown is positive.
– It was said to bring a raincoat. It is reportedly raining all the time. However, it has been really good weather now.
Even the distances are a luxury for New York.
– The training and arrival hall are close- about twenty minutes each.

One Finn was permanently hockey in Seattle’s NHL team before arriving Kako: Eeli Tolvanen.
Tolvanen has been a great help in the new city for the Turku youth.
– In the beginning, I was able to live with her for a few weeks. It took a long time to get my own car, so I got on Eeli everywhere.
Kako’s own rental car paid for the whole year did not arrive at Seattle until the end of January. It is easier to get to know the city with your own running game.
Kakko and Tolvanen handled the rent: Kakko lived with his compatriot with a food salary.
– I could be there with food salary. I made a few salmon soups for dinner, but it was really there.
Kakko, who has been a little responsible in Rangers, has started his career well in Seattle. In 21 matches, Kakko has scored 16 power points. In addition to the power points, the Finn has struck himself in the hearts of Kraken fans.
