The trial against Luis Rubiales started in Spain. The former president of the football association kissed the player Jennifer Hermoso at the award ceremony of the 2023 World Cup – against her will. The public prosecutor demands two and a half years in prison.
Three other men are accused of. In front of the State Court in Madrid, Rubiales must be defended in the allegation of sexual aggression and coercion. The 47 -year -old man threatens a prison sentence of several years.
