The Berlin Salon celebrates its tenth anniversary in the Gemäldegalerie at the Kulturforum during the current fashion week in the German capital.

In the group exhibition, the work of more than 50 emerging designers comes into a dialogue with the works of the old masters. Both clubs such as identity, sexuality and self -expression, Christiane Arp said during a tour on Monday. The chairwoman of the Fashion Council Germany curated the Berlin Salon again this time. Together with Marcus Kurz, the managing director of the Novadays agency, she made him an important platform for promoting German young designs.

“A decade of the Berlin Salon-which started as a curated design orientation for specialist audience, is more and more a recognized presentation format for young designers: inside and from Germany, ARP said in a message in early January. “The fact that the Berlin Salon in the world unique art collections such as the Bode Museum and now in the Gemäldegalerie takes place in a creative dialogue with the visual art is recognition and confirmation of our commitment.”
