TSG Hoffenheim reacted to the injury to Stammtorfüter Oliver Baumann and committed Jakob Busk. The 31-year-old comes loan from Denmark from the first division club Sönderjyske until the end of the season. Germany already knows Busk from its station at Union Berlin, for which he was active from 2016 to 2024 and was 57 times between the posts.
“Luca Philipp will enjoy our full trust in the coming weeks. We are convinced that he will be represented by our captain Oliver Baumann during his injury break in the TSG goal. Since our young goalkeeper Lúkas Petersson is currently injured, we have already communicated in the past few days that we will look around for another goalkeeper at the transfer market. With Jakob Busk we have now been able to win an extremely experienced keeper for us who already knows the German professionals from his time at Union Berlin. He will support Luca with all his routine and our goalkeeper team will complete until the end of the current season, ”said sports manager Andreas Schicker.
Busk has played 16 games so far this season, of which he stayed twice without conceding a goal. He once played 57 games for the Köpenickers, 56 of them in the 2nd Bundesliga and one in the DFB Cup.
