The rate of many traffic fines goes up with a tenner from Saturday. A fine for driving a telephone in hand now costs the motorist 430 euros, while that was first 420 euros, the ANWB reports. Also the fines for red light driving (from now on 310 euros), unnecessary left driving (280 euros) and no belt wearing (190 euros) go up a tenner.
