The pipeline is part of the large Highway Zeebrugge – Brussels project. Fluxys still wants to start in the spring of 2025 with the construction of the lead Zeebrugge-Lievegem. She will cross the municipalities of Bruges, Knokke-Heist, Damme, Maldegem and Lievegem.
The management is mainly constructed through an open trench in a national, little populated agricultural area. There are compensations for local residents who are bothered.
