WhatsApp says that Israeli Spyware company visited their users: “Target coins were citizens and journalists”

The popular WhatsApp chat service from Meta said that the Israeli Spyware company Paragon Solutions was targeting almost a hundred of their users, including citizens and journalists. WhatsApp told the newspaper ‘The Guardian’ that they “believe with great certainty” that the users in question were the target and “possibly compromised”.
