El Hotzo apologizes once again for his misconduct and now wants to withdraw longer.
The unadorned comedian Sebastian Hotz, who appears on the (network) stage as El Hotzo, speaks back to Instagram after a long radio silence. The comedian had previously commented on the allegations against him in a statement.
In the morning of January 31, Hotz posted a message to his followers: inside on Instagram. He only wrote “31.1. Excuse me”.
“On December 15th I published a statement on Twitter and Bluesky, in which I disclosed my private misconduct in past relationships. Since then I have been working with professional help on myself and my behavioral patterns. “
In the further course of the text, the 29-year-old dealt with the fact that his way to improve himself was a longer, but he had the feeling that he took the first steps in the right direction. The comedian also revealed that he would be offline for a while. In his eyes, this is “sensible and helpful”.
“In the run -up to the Bundestag election, I therefore hand over my channels temporarily to organizations that do important political work,” wrote Hotz in the last paragraph of his post. Twitter and Instagram will apparently go to Medici International, his bluesky account would be careful not to sanction. Under his message, the native of Forchheim then only wrote “see you soon”, followed by a signature.

In his statement on December 15, 2024, the comedian tried to apologize in a number of tweets for his private behavior towards women. In the past, Hotz is said to have repeatedly lied to and cheated on women. At that time the comedian admitted that women emotionally manipulated, lied to and kept relationships secret so as not to be discovered.
In his posting on X, Hotz himself established a connection between his behavior and his public image. He wrote: “I used my role and reputation as a reflected media man and harmed many people.” It is particularly problematic that he has publicly represented values such as openness and advancement, but acted privately.

However, Hotz only received a lot of criticism for his statement on social media. Above all, it was complained that he did not make his statement on his main account, but published it in response to another post. Some users: So inside accused him of wanting to cover up the matter. A critic also described his apology as the “absolute minimum” and suspected the damage limitation than a real insight behind it.
