For the fans, the club World Cup will be an expensive pleasure if they want to be on site. Four -digit prices are more standard than exception in the semi -finals at the latest.
Borussia Dortmund informed his fans on Friday by email about the prices defined by FIFA for the club’s potential games in the club World Cup. If BVB reaches the final, at least 287 euros will be due according to the current conversion course. According to the club, however, “only a few” are available from these cards. In the other two categories, FIFA demands 854 euros and 2,136 euros from the Dortmund fans.
The cards can initially only request BVB fans through their club. You can only buy them when the club reaches the respective round. “If the BVB does not qualify for the KO round (or leave in one of the rounds), the bookings for KO games are automatically canceled without BVB participation”says the club. The FIFA raise a fee of $ 10 per order for the cancellation.

“Dynamic Pricing” should ensure high income
When selling the cards that are not intended for the fan groups of the participating clubs, FIFA uses the principle of dynamic pricing (“Dynamic Pricing”). The supply and demand are always up -to -date, as is known when booking hotels, flights or trains. The FIFA hopes for the highest possible income at the tournament.
At the start of the sale of the tickets for the final, there were initially places for third place at the top of the Metlife Stadium in New Jersey. 613 to $ 1,181 (590 to 1,150 euros) should cost a card there, plus taxes and fees.
The better places were largely not yet available. There was a few places in the field in the area between around 4,000 and 9,000 euros on the platform of a ticket provider used by FIFA using an officially approved “resale”. The 2026 World Cup also takes place in the stadium near New York. Even in the semi -finals, four -digit prices are already intended in the regular sale of FIFA.
Club World Cup stalled for a long time when marketing
The tournament drew for a long time when marketing in sponsorship and transmission rights. Most recently, FIFA announced some sponsors. And found a media partner with DAZN who was ready to pay around one billion US dollars for the transfer rights of the two tournaments 2025 and 2029.
