The British fashion group Burberry Group PLC appoints Charlotte Baldwin to the new Chief Information Officer (CIO).
Baldwin will take up her position at the end of March 2025 and lead the global technology organization of the traditional brand, Burberry said on Friday. She will report a member of the Executive Committee and directly to Chief Executive Officer Joshua Schulman.
“I am very happy to welcome Charlotte at Burberry. She is an extremely experienced technology and digitization expert with a demonstrable track record in the management of large-scale digital transformation processes, ”said Schulman. “I am thrilled that Charlotte will strengthen our management team and look forward to further developing our technological skills together with her and promoting our strategy.”
The new CIO changes from the Costa Coffee coffee house chain to Burberry, where it is currently working as a global chief digital and information officer. In this function, she is responsible for the company’s global technology, digital and data strategy. Before that, she was responsible for the digital and transformation officer at BUPA Insurance for the digital transformation and technological development of the international health service provider BUPA.
