AZ loses Doelpuntrijk Duel at Ferencváros, in the intermediate round Wacht Real Sociedad of Galatasaray

AZ was already assured of the interim round in Budapest and so it also played against the Hungarian top club Ferencváros, which received free play from AZ. Already in the first half the home team took a 3-0 lead. It eventually became 4-3. In the interim round in February a clash with Galatasaray or Real Sociedad awaits for a place in the eighth finals of the Europa League.
